Creative ideas to end the 2011 season of March Madness

Want to end this year’s season with a bang? Gather your buddies, children, dogs and all celebrate March Madness.
Here are some ideas to make your March Madness party a success.

Send out invitations through e-mail with a basketball theme or, better yet, send game brackets as party invitations! Have your guests fill out the brackets before they arrive. Start off your party with a basketball pool.

Decorate your backyard with decorations from Party City. Play a game and provide your guests with some arts and crafts supplies and have a competition of who can create a basketball the fastest with the supplies given. Have guests cheering for a team? Create 2 teams in your party and during the commercials play a quick round of basketball, role playing the playoffs. Want to increase the competition? Play over your EasyTurf synthetic lawn! Enjoy your beautiful lawn and play a variation of basketball where the ball can only bounce once and it’s mostly in the air, similar to flag football. Don’t worry about grass stains and a muddy mess! provides a soft surface for enjoying carefree, hurt free, fun-filled playing grounds. Nothing eases game tension like a good, fun, outdoor game. Too cold outside? Have a dribbling contest in the garage!

Fire up the BBQ and pair it with a potluck for side dishes. Want to make this a game, too? Create a competition -who can create the most artistic dish representing a BBQ or sports related item? Create a basketball cake and make hamburger cookies.

Take a day off from everyday life. Grab your face paint and fan décor and go all out this season.
