As a way to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month back in October, the entire National Football League and the NFL players Association showed the largest on-field presence to encourage a national breast cancer screening-reminder and fund-raising campaign. This was to show and inspire women over 40 about the importance of having an annual mammogram while also fundraising for breast cancer research.
EasyTurf was more than thrilled to be able to help support this cause with the NFL Network. EasyTurf was able to create a custom NFL logo surrounded by 900 square feet of pink turf for the taping of their show during the month of October. Without actually having pink turf readily available, our team at our manufacturing plant had to combine both red and white yarn together in order to create the pink turf that was needed. In the end the entire NFL studio floor was covered with this unique pink turf in hopes to show their support and create awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
