I enjoy my outdoor living spaces. I invest time and money in my back yard, and I like to enjoy it with the frequent BBQ.
Midway through grilling some great steaks, my friend puts down his frosty beverage to ask, “Is astro turf lawn for dogs good?”
After first explaining to my word-weary friend that Astro turf is one brand of synthetic grass, and I chose EasyTurf, I replied, “yes, it’s great.” I love my EasyTurf, but I wanted to talk about Opening Day and the Padres‘ chances of making the playoffs.
But my reply garnered more questions. “Is the fake grass for dogs to potty on? How much is a dog turf lawn? Can they tear it up? Dig through it? Will it change color? Is it good turf for dogs to pee on?”
Flipping the steaks, I proceeded to answer all his questions. He seemed most impressed when I mentioned Cesar Millan, renowned dog whisperer, had endorsed EasyTurf as his “turf of choice.” Millan recently installed more than 10,000 square feet of EasyTurf at his Dog Psychology Center in Santa Clarita, Calif.
I went on to explain that the difference between EasyTurf and other turf brands is in the dog urine drainage! Every inch of the MaxxFlow™ artificial grass backing drains freely with absolutely zero absorption. That means dog urine odor won’t be a problem, and it even stands up to ALL pets, pet waste and dog urine.
The backing also incorporates an integrated weed barrier which eliminates the need to purchase and install a separate one, saving you time and money – which is why not only do I have a fresh, green lawn, but I have fresh green, weed-free lawn.
Satisfied with my turf responses, we were able to move on to the Padres, and after much deliberation, we concluded, optimistically, that they will make the playoffs. Even if they don’t, we’re sure to spend plenty of time this summer listening to games on the radio, grilling more steaks, and enjoying our SoCal sunshine.
